A free monthly gathering with the Divine MotherAn hour with the Goddess and then chai together.
Once a month, the lounge becomes a little meditation hall: candles, low light, shoes at the door. Take the floor or the sofa, whatever your body wants. Soft music, then an hour in Her company. Stillness, sound, a little darshan of the Shakti.Some months a long, held meditation. Some a simple puja: flowers, flame and mantra. Some months something else.Nothing to learn first. Just an hour with Her, then chai, afternoon tea and proper conversation. Bring a small plate to share if you can.The easy start. Come exactly as you are.When: one Sunday a month, 4 pm

The Heart of the Kula
If you have found your way here, it is not an accident. Something drew you, a pull you may not have words for. That pull is Her. The Devi does the calling. We only keep the door open.This is Spandashakti Kula. Spanda is the subtle throb of life itself, the first stir of awareness alive in everything that is. Shakti is the power behind that throb. Kula means family, a spiritual family gathered around Her.At the heart of this family is the Devi. The heart is Parashakti, the supreme power herself, formless and boundless, the one consciousness pulsing as all of this.Everything we do, the sitting, the chanting, the practice, the chai, serves one thing. To reach the clear space. The open sky of awareness where She already resides, within you, prior to every idea you have held about yourself. That space is your birthright. It belongs to everyone, and it asks for nothing but your presence.The teaching is grounded in the nondual Shakta Shaiva Tantra, carried through a living practice of the Dasa Mahavidyas, the Ten Great Wisdom Goddesses.This is a path for householders. Not a retreat from the world but a way of living awake within it, at your work, in your home, among the people you love. That is the real sadhana, and it is the whole point.So come as you are. Whatever brought you, it was Her. Sit down, breathe out, and turn with us towards the one who called you.

Keeping the Vessel Clean
Ammaji is not incidental to this space. What moves through her teaching is a living transmission, carried through decades of sadhana and years within the tradition. The Shakti moves through what she offers. She is not its source. The Devi is. But she is the one it flows through, and that current is part of what draws people here. Take away the word guru, and the energy remains.We bow to the Mother, the Parashakti, the same power already alive in the one who bows. Ammaji's work is simply to spark that recognition and point each person home to it.
This is not a rulebook. Good and bad, right and wrong, all of that shifts from person to person, because it comes from the head and from culture. It is not the ground. What follows is simply the clean vessel that keeps the space true, so the Devi has somewhere spacious to arrive.
What we commit to:
Clear boundaries. No coercion, no manufactured urgency, no secret inner circles. The door is always clearly marked, and you are free to leave at any time, with no penalty and no guilt.
Lights on with money. What things cost and what they fund will always be plain. Grace is never sold.
Care and consent. We hold confidentiality. The safety of every person here matters more than any teaching.
Lineage honoured. We name our tradition clearly and do not borrow lineages or positions we have not been given.
Honest limits. We hold this space with integrity. We cannot control anyone else's choices, reactions or karma, and we will not pretend otherwise.
No pedestals. Your sovereignty and your own inner authority come first, always.
What we ask of you:
Come as a sovereign adult, responsible for your own journey.
Respect the others here, their privacy, their pace, their practice.
This is a space for practice and community, not for interrogation or working out unfinished business from other places in the group.
Give what you can, in seva or in fair exchange, so the lamp stays lit for the next person, and the importance of being a part of the Kula gives you great joy.
We are not promising a perfect community. People are people, and light and dark walk together as they always have. What we promise is sound foundations, honest intention, and our genuine best. The rest we leave to you, to each other, and to Her.
